Thank you, everyone, for all of your support last year. The first annual Hope for Haiti 5k Run and Walk was a smashing success.
Over 270 people made a personal statement that they support the work for Chauffard, Haiti and CPI’s Haitian friends who live there.
Take a second to let our sponsors know how much you appreciate their support. Congratulations to all of our Heroes of Hope who helped raise above and beyond their registration fee, which was a huge help for our Haitian friends.

We are so glad you are considering joining our cause through our upcoming Hope for Haiti 5K Run & Walk. The event will start at 9AM on Saturday, January 28th at Lake Hollingsworth (First Presbyterian Church).
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
We have been working in Haiti for almost 4 years now. In January 2010, an earthquake caused significant damage to our work in Chauffard, Haiti, as well as the lives of many of our Haitian friends. However, it also brought this hopeful community in Haiti together in unity of purpose with a vision for their future.

EVENT DETAILS
Walkers Wanted:
Family, friends, and co-workers – come and join us in this simply way to partner with our friends in Haiti to give them the hope that they deserve. The Chauffard Community Center has been seeded and we have broken ground. We are still $20,000 away from finishing this Community Center which will allow for adult education, primary (building toward secondary) education, a meal a day for students, and host medical clinics several times a year.
Individual Runners:
5 Year Age Divisions, Awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each division.

BECOME A HERO OF HOPE
Everyone who participates in this event is a hero of hope, but we thought some of you might want to raise the bar a bit and make this event a HUGE success for our friends in Chauffard. You can do this by choosing to raise additional funds through personal sponsorship as a walker, runner or team. In addition to the sweet satisfaction of knowing you are a “hero”, there will be several awards forthcoming!.
INDIVIDUAL HERO OF HOPE
The individual who raises the most money over $250 will be awarded.
TEAM OF HEROES OF HOPE
The fundraising team that raises the most money over $500 will also be awarded.
To become an individual or team of Heroes of Hope:

- Click the big, black button on the right that reads “Join the Team.”
- Follow the instructions to create your own profile
- Once you have created your own profile page, you can copy your link and email it to everyone in your contact list inviting them to sponsor you for the run/walk.
