It’s About…
A SCHOOL: helping determined students go from learning while being exposed to the elements under a tarp to being a solid classroom with top-notch education.
A CHURCH: having a place to gather and worship, connect, and serve one another regardless of the erratic Haitian weather.
CLEAN WATER: having a location in the center of the community to collect and filter rain water to make it drinkable, eliminating their need to walk an hour each way to find clean water.
ADULT EDUCATIONS: bringing tutors to help illiterate community elders learn to read and write, enabling them to communicate their vision and values to coming generations.
A LIBRARY: gathering a collection of valuable writings, resources, and materials to help our Haitian friends help themselves in their areas of community-building.
A MEDICAL CLINIC: having a place for nurses and doctors to put their supplies and meet privately with patients from the community, and training local Haitians to be care-givers in the absence of doctors.
A CENTER FOR COMMUNITY: a group of community and their elders having a place to make important decisions, discussing their values and vision for their families, and developing unity in the heart of the village as well as its people.

We have worked with the people of Chauffard, Haiti for sustainable development of their community.
In that time, they have taught us what it is to help poverty. What we learned is that development is holistic in nature. What we came up with together is this:
