Who We Are

October 17th, 2009

Community Partnership International, Inc (CPI) is a non-profit organization commited to Holistic, Systemic Improvement for Haitians through Strategic Partnerships.

WE ENVISION A TRANSFORMED HAITI.

  • haiti05-08haitianchildrencWe believe that all of the brokenness and dysfunction can be radically altered and reversed.
  • We envision local communitities where lives are being changed and empowered daily.
  • We believe that education can and will be made available to every person – regardless of age or location.
  • We believe that the depressed economy can be revitalized through introducing sustainable business models, leadership and skills training, micro-financing, and moral & ethical renewal of individuals.
  • We envision people of all ages receiving the medical care they need – drastically decreasing the mortality rate among women and children who die daily from treatable conditions.
  • We believe that food and sanitary water can be provided to all Haitians.
  • We believe the leadership structures in all areas of society can be dramatically encouraged training principle-driven men and women to be agents of change in a broken society.

We envision restored and hopeful Haitians working for change in every area of society. This would include the realms of government, politics, business, religion, arts and entertainment, sports, and education.

 Kenny Ellis, CPI Executive Director

haiti-leadership-teamKenny and Jennie have been married 14 years and have four boys (Kobe, Connor, Coleman, & Cooper). They reside in Lakeland, FL. Kenny graduated from Southeastern University in 1996 with a BA in Pastoral Leadership. He is currently pursuing his MA from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Kenny served as Pastor to Families with Youth at two local churches in Lakeland before planting a church in 1999. He led that church for over 8 years before resigning to give full-time focus to CPI. In fact, it was through that local church that he met Jonathan. Over the past 6 years, Jonathan and Kenny have traveled back and forth to Haiti and developed a deep friendship that undergirds the alliance between CPI and PAM.

Grant Nieddu, CPI Assistant Director

grant-john-may08Grant R. Nieddu began working with community development in high school serving with Young Life in Vero Beach, FL. After several years performing in dramas for awareness programs, Grant took a stronger step toward ministry and began serving as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor of Without Walls International, Vero Beach, FL. During this time Grant participated in a program called “Semester at Sea”. This program took him around the globe studying World Religions. Upon his return he moved to Lakeland to complete his formal education. He traveled with CPI to Haiti in May of 2008 and realized immediately that he wanted to commit his best energy and gifts to the future of this organization. Along with his heart for people and the experience of international travel, he brings technical, administrative, and creative skills to bear on our organization.
