A Life of Significance – CPI Partners

We believe we were created to live a life of significance. Not the typical self-centered, crowd-pleasing significance, but rather a Godly significance established through serving others and generosity. We become less human to the extent that we place our needs, conveniences and pleasure at the center of our life purpose.   

However, we become more fully alive when we invest the overflow of gifts and resources that have been given to us to reverse the effects of brokenness and despair in the people around us.    

 A People of Hope – CIM Haiti

Haiti is a beautiful country located 700 miles to the Southeast of the United States. Less than a two-hour plane ride away, Haiti shares the island of Hispaniola with The Dominican Republic and was once termed the “Jewel of the Caribbean.”

Their landscape is filled with breathtaking mountain ranges strung along the coast of pristine beaches. Their culture is filled with rich tradition and warm hospitality. At the same time, you don’t have to look hard to see radical brokenness and despair.

Their turbulent history of slavery, violence, economic oppression and isolation has left its enduring mark on our fellow humans in Haiti. The daily life of most Haitians is marred by poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, unemployment, hunger, unsanitary water, oppressive labor and a lack of education and opportunities.

However, there has been a resilient hope that has sustained Haitians all these years. That hope is fueled when fellow humans from around the world choose to join their struggle for a better life.

A Transforming Pathway

Community Partnerships International (aka, ‘CPI’) and our primary Haitian partner organization, Pierre Angulaiere Ministere (aka, ‘PAM’) have created a pathway that brings these two dynamics together; your God-given desire to live for significance and the opportunity to join a life-changing mission among the hopeful people of Haiti.

This is an introduction to Haiti, its people, the mission of CPI, and the opportunities for you to join our mission.
